Beautiful Photos For
Your Special Day

We strive to produce a wedding portfolio that encompasses both traditional altar and group portraits as well as photojournalistic candid shots to tell the story of the day. Our unique approach gives you a truly special keepsake in your wedding photos that you will love for years to come.

How Your Day Will Look

A typical wedding day scenario includes photographing all formals ahead of the ceremony. We begin shooting about 1.5 hours prior to the ceremony with the goal to be done in the sanctuary at least 30 minutes ahead of the ceremony.

If the bride and groom are open to it, we plan a "first viewing" to allow the big reveal of the bride in her dress before we begin with pictures. This allows us to complete the formal pictures of the bride and groom together and helps to expedite the transition to the reception without major delays for photography. If you would prefer to not see each other before the wedding, we can invert the process and do the formal portraits after the ceremony.

Once the formals are complete we focus on the photojournalist pictures and begin the capture the day as it happens. This includes the ceremony, the preparation, and a possible trip to a nearby park to get some fun shots with the couple and the bridal party. Lastly we capture the exciting moments at the reception to include the traditional photo opportunities such as cake cutting, introduction, bouquet toss, first dance, speeches and toasts, etc.
